Composite Technician - Entry Level Aerospace!

Pay: $23 to $27 per hour
Location: Mukilteo, WA
Job Description:
We are seeking individuals to support the manufacturing of advanced aerospace components using composite materials such as carbon fiber and prepregs. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience or strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow within the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform hand layup of composite materials on molds per engineering specifications
-
Prepare tools, molds, and surfaces to ensure proper material adhesion and part quality

Apply prepreg materials with accurate fiber orientation and ply placement
-
Set up and execute vacuum bagging processes for curing operations
-
Operate ovens and autoclaves in accordance with process and safety requirements
-
Trim, drill, and finish parts to meet dimensional and quality standards
-
Inspect components for defects and ensure compliance with specifications
-
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Experience using hand and power tools, ideally in a manufacturing or technical setting

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
-
Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
-
Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Experience in manufacturing, construction, or related field

Familiarity with composite materials or technical documentation
Shift Times:
-
1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Thursday

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Monday - Thursday
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mukilteo, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
