Full job description

The Per Diem Uro Gyn OR Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.

2 years experience surgically trained in robotic surgery and preferred experience in Urogynecology/OBGYN.

Coverage for JFK (Primary), Riverview, Old Bridge and Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

  • Education:

  • Successful completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.

  • Licensure & Certifications:

  • Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant License.

  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

  • Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with computer platforms, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

  • Certifications:

  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Minimum rate of $71.72 Hourly
