Role Summary

The Senior Cloud Solutions Architect will lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise cloud architecture in San Gabriel Valley, California. This role serves as a strategic and hands-on technical leader responsible for driving cloud transformation, identity management, and infrastructure modernization across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise cloud architecture across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments

  • Define architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices for scalable and secure cloud solutions

  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and cloud-native initiatives across business platforms

  • Architect and manage identity systems, including Active Directory and cloud-based identity services

  • Oversee design, governance, and optimization of enterprise productivity and collaboration platforms

  • Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and DevOps best practices

  • Partner with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and secure design principles

  • Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost

  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance across teams

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategies for continuous improvement and innovation

Compensation & Benefits

  • $155,000 - $160,000 plus discretionary bonus and stock

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or architecture roles

  • Deep expertise in cloud architecture across compute, networking, storage, identity, and security

  • Strong experience with identity platforms, including Active Directory and cloud identity services

  • Experience designing and supporting enterprise productivity platforms and collaboration tools

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, configuration management technologies)

  • Strong knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud environments

  • Experience working in large-scale, enterprise environments with mission-critical systems

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or similar)

  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and site reliability engineering principles

  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security models (e.g., zero-trust architecture)

  • Strong leadership experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical strategy
