What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts when requested, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.

Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
