Junior Electrician Job Description:

Join a growing commercial electrical contractor supporting healthcare and commercial projects across Nassau and Suffolk County. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of commercial experience, take pride in quality work, and prioritize safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install MC/BX cable, conduit, wiring, lighting, and electrical devices.

  • Perform commercial rough-in, trim-out, and fixture installations.

  • Read blueprints and electrical drawings.

  • Troubleshoot circuits and assist with panel wiring.

  • Install low-voltage systems and lighting controls.

  • Follow all safety procedures and work effectively with the team.

Qualifications

  • **** 2+ years of commercial electrical experience.

  • Experience with conduit, wiring, lighting, and devices.

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

  • OSHA 30 certification required.

  • Reliable transportation and basic electrical tools.

  • Strong work ethic, communication skills, and reliability.

Preferred

  • Healthcare or medical office project experience.

  • Scissor lift experience.

  • Low-voltage and lighting controls experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of New Hyde Park, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
