Full job description
We are currently looking for a Growth Operations & Business Development Analyst for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. In this role, you will support VetsEZ’s federal business development organization by conducting market research, maintaining Salesforce data, analyzing pipeline metrics, developing competitive intelligence, and assisting capture and proposal teams pursuing opportunities across federal agencies.
This early-career position operates in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and works closely with Account Executives, Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, Solution Architects, and executive leadership. The role provides exposure to the full federal business development lifecycle, including opportunity identification, qualification, capture planning, and proposal development.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities

Research upcoming federal contracting opportunities using government procurement websites, market intelligence platforms, and industry resources.

Monitor procurement forecasts, contract awards, recompete opportunities, and industry announcements across federal healthcare agencies.

Research competitors, incumbent contractors, teaming partners, and market trends to support competitive intelligence and capture planning.

Maintain accurate opportunity, account, customer, and pipeline information within Salesforce CRM.

Develop executive reports, dashboards, pipeline analyses, and business development metrics to support leadership decision-making.

Assist Capture Managers with customer research, procurement histories, briefing materials, gate reviews, Black Hat sessions, and capture planning activities.

Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Government, or a related field, with a minimum 2 years of professional experience in business development, market research, consulting, sales operations, government contracting, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to research, organize, interpret, and clearly present market and business intelligence.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate information in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills, curiosity, initiative, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Additional Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Power BI, GovWin, SAM.gov, USASpending.gov, or similar federal market intelligence tools is preferred.

Experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies to improve research and operational efficiency is a plus.

Familiarity with federal procurement, proposal development, or agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency, or Department of Health and Human Services is preferred. Security Clearance Requirements
