Compensation: $30-$40 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday- Friday 6 am-2:30pm
Basic Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred. Experience in building maintenance, with a focus on mechanical systems preferred.

Job Description
The Lead Building Technician will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operation of all building systems and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable production facility environment. This role ensures the smooth operation of our facility by creating a reliable environment for our production activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance and repair activities for all building systems

Ensure proper operation of building equipment, including boilers, chillers, pumps, compressors, and other related systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, implementing corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime.

Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance and prolong service life.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular inspections and maintaining accurate records.

Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, installations, and maintenance services.

Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for building maintenance activities.

Identify opportunities for energy savings and efficiency improvements within the facility, implementing sustainable practices where possible.

Respond to emergency situations, such as equipment failures, power outages, or other facility-related issues, ensuring swift resolution to minimize disruption.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance, with a focus on mechanical systems.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.

Experience with industrial equipment maintenance, including boilers, chillers, pumps, and compressors.

Proven leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
