Job Duties
Mechanical Inspector (entry level)
What your responsibilities will be:

Read and Interpret customer drawings
-
Follow quality control plans
-
Measure parts to verify dimensions meet specifications
-
Accurately document inspection results in proper format
-
Follow good documentation practices
-
Identify and report any process characteristics such as; scratches, burrs, cosmetic, or dimensional variation
-
Proper use, maintenance, and storage of inspection equipment
Minimum Education Required
High School Diploma
Minimum Experience Required
The skills/qualifications we are looking for:

Good Shop Math
-
Proficient with mechanical inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gages, pin gages, etc)

Understanding of SPC (QC-CALC Software or Equivalent)

First Article Inspection Reporting (FAIR)

Final Inspection Certifications
-
Understanding of machining and related manufacturing processes
-
Program & Operate Vision Inspection Equipment (Micro-Vu or Equivalent)

Familiar with Statistical Process Control (Minitab or Sigma Excel)

Program & Operate CMM (PC-DMIS Software)
-
Understanding of Quality Control Plans
