Full job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for Material Handler Position in SANDUSKY MI. This is a great opportunity to further your existing skills as a Assembler, while learning new ones to assist you in your career.

Perks:

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures accuracy on incoming receipts by counting items and comparing the packing slip to the purchase order while checking packages for damage.

  • Initiates sales order process by consolidating received items or by staging items for further processing of shipments.

  • Stocking items in correct locations.

  • Delivers and retrieves materials by operating material handling equipment, including Hi-Lo and Wave 60 Lift Machine.

  • Assembles and prepares orders for shipment.

  • Maintains quality service by following organizational standards and departmental processes and procedures.

  • Contributes to a total team effort by being versatile in all areas and functions in the warehouse.

  • Observe established safe working, housekeeping procedures and promptly correct and/or notify supervisor of any hazardous situations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED

  • Need forklift experience.

Pay Details: $17.36 per hour
