Full job description
Position Objective: The Property Accountability Manager Support Services will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of National Eye Institute within the National Institutes of Health. The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of property accountability and IT-related administrative support services.
Provide property accountability, inventory, purchasing and acquisition support, licensing and maintenance agreement administration, warranty tracking, spreadsheet/database support, and technical documentation support for technical and non-technical audiences.
NEI requires support for physical inventory of supplies and equipment, purchasing, acquisition, inventory control, licensing and maintenance agreement administration, warranty recording and logging, administrative databases, document preparation, and conversion of paper documents to electronic form.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support for the physical inventory of supplies and equipment, purchasing, acquisition, and inventory.

Provide support for licensing and maintenance agreement administration, warranty recording and logging, and other IT-related support functions

Document technical items for various audiences in technical and non-technical terms.

Input technical information into charts, graphs, and spreadsheets for use by technical and non-technical audiences.

Set up and format spreadsheets; gather and analyze information; and prepare documents.

Develop, maintain, and utilize administrative databases.

Coordinate the printing and conversion of paper documents to electronic form.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor degree in a related discipline.
-
Four years of specialized experience plus a high school diploma is equivalent to a Bachelor degree.

Minimum of nine years of inventory and property control management experience.

Knowledge of NIH procurement, purchasing, and IT administrative systems; expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with non-technical and technical staff

Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects
