Full job description

A Snapshot of Your Day

We perform visual and dimensional inspections and record all required data. Interpret results of visual and dimensional inspections and recommend appropriate action in accordance with referenced repair specifications, accepted industry and shop practices. Document and test the required inspection of components. We perform required process control actions to ensure equipment and materials meet minimum requirements prior to inspections.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of repair equipment to finish, inspect, and evaluate parts per accepted industry standards. Document finish and repair tasks as required.

  • Perform inspections and accurately report findings of inspections to operations and supervisor

  • Work with or under the direction of managers or engineers.

  • Follow all applicable specifications and procedures regarding the performance of shop operations and use all required safety equipment while following established safety procedures

  • Keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition.

  • Support and apply team concepts in daily activities and provide technical direction and training to other employees as required

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to use hand & power tools safely.

  • Prior auto body repair, grinding, fiberglass or resin repair nice to have

  • Ability to work in protective suit, mask, respirator, and gloves and able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

  • Ability to read, write and understand metric measuring system.

  • Sit, stand, bend & kneel for 8 or more hours a day and available for overtime for up to 12 -hour days and on off days

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
