The Implementation Consultant will leverage deep EMR and healthcare system knowledge to define scope, requirements, and extraction strategy, working closely with client stakeholders, Technical Data Archival Consultants, and Implementation Leads to reduce risk, accelerate timelines, and ensure successful project outcomes.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • Conduct structured discovery sessions with client stakeholders in order to understand EMR systems, workflows, data structures, and system dependencies.

  • Analyse EMR, Patient Accounting, and enterprise systems to define data sources, extraction requirements, and archival strategy.

  • Translate discovery findings into clear, actionable inputs for technical teams in order to ensure readiness for extraction, transformation, and load activities.

  • Own coordination of client system access, permissions, and environment readiness to resolve blockers that could impact delivery timelines.

  • Facilitate workshops and manage dependencies, risks, and timelines throughout Discovery in order to build strong client relationships and ensure alignment across implementation and technical teams.

  • Produce high-quality documentation including system profiles, data inventories, and extraction requirements to support delivery, handoff, and knowledge transfer.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare information technology implementation, data migration, or archival projects.

  • Proven success in leading discovery sessions and gathering complex system and data requirements.

  • In-depth knowledge on how to analyse EMR/EHR systems, Patient Accounting systems, and related healthcare applications, including familiarity with healthcare workflows, medical terminology, and clinical data concepts.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in understanding system workflows and data structures.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Sincere interest in improving healthcare outcomes through better data management and archival practices.

  • A knack for working both collaboratively and independently within a fast-paced project environment, managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and dependencies.

  • By enabling flexibility in how we work and prioritizing employee wellness, we empower our team to do and be their best.
