A leading publicly traded media organization headquartered in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join its growing technology team. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week. The organization is known for its strong reputation within the media industry, continued profitability, and commitment to innovation. The ideal candidate will bring experience working within a public cloud environment, ideally AWS along with Infrastructure as Code experience using tools such as Terraform.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established cloud and infrastructure team where you'll help support modern CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure provisioning, containerized application deployments, and cloud security initiatives. Candidates who enjoy collaborating across engineering teams, improving automation, and contributing to scalable cloud operations will thrive in this role. Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related role

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

  • Experience working with Docker or other containerization technologies

  • Familiarity with source control platforms such as GitHub

  • Understanding of cloud networking concepts, identity management, and security best practices

  • Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting infrastructure issues

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions

  • Exposure to Kubernetes environments

  • Experience managing cloud security posture and compliance initiatives

  • Familiarity with Akamai or other CDN/security platforms

  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python

  • Experience working within hybrid or multi-cloud environments

  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools

  • Background supporting highly available customer-facing applications
