T he Opportunity :

We are currently building a talent pool for future Software Engineering - Java opportunities across Engineer to Lead levels within our team. This is an opportunity to be considered for upcoming roles and contribute to shaping the future of Sysco’s customer experience from the ground up.

Responsibilities :

• D esign ing and develop ing enterprise solutions for one of the world’s largest corporations

• Implement ing distributed and highly available enterprise applications that scale for enterprise demands

• Lead ing and groom ing a team of talented individuals and driv ing the team toward achieving common goals

• Adher ing to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of solutions

• Ensu ring high code quality by following software engineering best practices

• Work ing collaboratively in a cross - functional team in an Agile delivery environment

• Adher ing to DevOps principles and be ing involved in projects throughout their full software lifecycle: from development, QA, and deployment, to post-production support

Requirements :

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and for SE - 1-2 Years, for SSE 2-4 Years, ATL - 4-6 Years and for TL 6-8 years of experience developing production enterprise applications

• Extensive e xperience with the Java/Spring -Boot stack, along with hands-on knowledge on RESTful APIs, microservices , performance optimizations, enterprise integration principles and modern deployment strategies (containerization principles)

• An i n-depth understanding of relational databases, schema design and SQL optimization. Knowledge on NoSQL databases would be an added advantage

• Familiarity with Linux - based systems, DevOps practices and prior experience working with c loud platforms ( AWS preferred)

• Familiarity with data streaming concepts and related toolsets (Kafka)

• Excellent communication and leadership skills , along with prior experience leading people

• Familiarity with working in a Scrum Agile delivery environment

• Familiarity with Quality Engineering process es and practices

• Knowledge o f front-end development (React/Redux stack) would be an added advantage
