Job Description:
Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking dedicated and flexible individuals to join our team as Substitute Teaching Assistants. This position offers the opportunity to support teachers and students in a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers with implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.

Support students with their academic and emotional needs.

Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess.

Help maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.

Adapt to various classroom settings and student needs.

Communicate effectively with teachers and school staff.
Qualifications:
-
A high school diploma or equivalent, college coursework in education is a plus.

Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.

NYS Department of Education Fingerprint Clearance (or willing to obtain)
