Rad Tech

Full Time, First Shift - 9a-5:30p

Call/Weekend/Holiday rotation required

Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.

Job Duties:

Verifies orders, patient name/birth date and history.

Performs/documents time out procedure for invasive procedures.

Performs routine diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, surgery imaging, ED/Urgent care imaging, and assist Radiologist and authorized providers with exams/procedures, as necessary.

Produce quality images for Radiologist's review.

Must be able to complete warm up and QC on equipment (i.e. room checks, contrast reactions/infiltrates as required).

Requirements:

Technical Diploma from Accredited School of Radiologic Technology

Current Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) License

Current License with the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography (R)Registry
