Full job description

Job Title: Production Associate III

Location: Aurora, OH

Work Shift: 1st shift Mon-Fri 7am to 3:30pm

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Duration: 1 year from start date

Role Summary:

The Production Associate performs diverse and complex tasks supporting product development and manufacturing. Tasks include soldering electronic components, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, assembly, basic testing, reporting, documenting, packaging, and shipping under significant supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow work procedures, schematics, or verbal instructions.

  • Maintain accurate records of work and other management-required documents.

  • Perform manufacturing/assembly operations on one or two production lines.

  • Follow procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.

  • Maintain daily production output.

  • Participate in quality control inspections.

  • Work in Decon area: unpack, disinfect, and disposition returned product.

  • Collaborate with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers.

  • Assist with quality and process efficiency improvements.

  • Engage in Quality and LEAN activities, training, and employee activity teams.

  • Comply with EHS and Quality procedures, regulations, and policies.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or local equivalent.

  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret basic written technical information.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.

  • Ability to communicate using English (or local language).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience.

  • Thru-hole and surface mount soldering experience.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
