Job Description
We are seeking a skilled PLC Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical to maintaining, troubleshooting, and programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems that drive production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and control systems knowledge, hands‑on troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop, modify, and optimize PLC programs to support production processes.
*Diagnose and repair PLC, HMI, sensors, and automation equipment to minimize downtime.
*Maintain wiring, relays, contactors, VFDs, and control panels.
*Provide technical support for automated machinery, robotics, and production lines.
*Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on PLCs and related equipment.
*Maintain accurate records of programming changes, repairs, and system upgrades.
*Follow OSHA standards, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company safety protocols.
*Recommend automation improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve product quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
*2–5 years of PLC programming, troubleshooting, writing, or industrial automation experience.
*Familiarity with Allen‑Bradley
*Strong understanding of 3‑phase systems, sensors, relays, VFDs, and control circuits.
*Skilled in PLC programming software, HMI configuration, and industrial networking.
