Position Highlights
Advance your nursing career! Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.
Job Summary:

The Resource Nurse assumes responsibility for providing appropriate staffing and patient assignments

The Resource Nurse provides direction of hospital operation in the absence of the Department Managers and Administrators on scheduled shifts
Job Requirements:
-
IA RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required
-
Minimum of 3 years RN inpatient experience required
-
Critical Care experience preferred
-
Leadership experience preferred
-
Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
Job Schedule:
-
72 hrs a pay period
-
12 hr day/night shifts
-
Every other weekend or every third based on staffing
-
Holiday rotation
-
The schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department
