Full job description
The Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Unit is a specialized inpatient unit for the psychiatric evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of adults with co-occurring developmental and psychiatric disorders. This is a 6-bed unit that offers a behavioral approach to care for these dually diagnosed adults.
This is a full-time, 36 hours/week position that requires availability to work 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm) and every other weekend.
As a Mental Health Worker you will:

Participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient behaviors.

Provide direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan and under the direction of a professional nurse.

Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures.
Requirements:

HS Diploma/GED. Human Services related degree or past direct care, or related experience strongly preferred.

Must be available to work 36 hours per week and every other weekend.

All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
The pay range for this position is $19.36 minimum to $28.70 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
