As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Syracuse, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
-
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.

Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.

Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
-
Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrol activities, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
-
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
-
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
