Opportunity, Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Timber Technologies Solutions is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, team player to join our company in the position of Estimator / Inside Sales Support. This position reports to the VP of Sales. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities include: Estimating Glulam projects including Glulam Post Frame Columns, Glulam Beams & Rafters, Timber Trusses and GLT Mass Timber; Utilize estimating software to identify, determine, and recommend the products and quantities needed; Communicate with various stakeholders to determine the needs of the project; Work with sales and special operations teams to deliver customized solutions for clients; Collaborate with sales and the customer on estimate review; Using point of sale and vendor relationships, formulate a complete, accurate estimate; Track estimates to ensure timely delivery to the customer; Clear communication with team members, customers, vendors, architects, and builders is critical. Language and Technological Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret residential and/or commercial plans and specifications. Strong computer and estimating software skills ideally including knowledge of Woodworks, ProCore, CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Education and/or Experience: Minimum 2-year degree in Architectural Drafting and Estimating; or four years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work Environment: Primarily an office environment; may require travel to and from job sites and client offices. A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation is required.
