Full job description
Amergis Staffing is currently seeking school-based Behavior Technicians (BT) for the 2026/2027 school year in Santa Maria, CA.
Position Details:
Pay: $25/hour
Start Date: August 2026
Hours Per Week: 30
Schedule: Monday – Friday school hours
Length: 2026-2027 School Year
Requirements: ABA experience, 6-12 months experience as a Behavior Technician, must be comfortable toileting and changing. Will be working with children with special needs. Prior experience working with children or as a caregiver is required. High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required

Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
