Full job description

Position Title: Junior Varsity Cheerleading Coach (Winter 2026-27)

Salary/Pay Scale: $2,603

Requirements:

•New York State Coaching Certification https://www.highered.nysed.gov/tcert/certificate/coaching.html

•Completion of CDC or NFHS concussion management course.

•Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on academics, sportsmanship, and character development.

•Possess the ability to provide a challenging, first class, positive experience for our students, while striving for excellence and teaching lifelong lessons.

•Two years of successful sport specific modified or higher-level coaching and cheerleading participation experience preferred.

Description:

The JV coach works to ensure that there is continuity throughout the program while ensuring that the program is conducted within the philosophy and policies for Interscholastic Athletics as developed by the administration. The JV coach works very closely with the varsity coach to instruct the JV team, develop the goals of the program, and prepare students for varsity level competition. This may include various tasks as assigned by the varsity coach or athletic director.
