PIVOT POINT INC. a manufacturer of non-threaded fasteners located in Hustisford, WI is seeking qualified candidates to fill a 1st Shift Secondaries Department Machine Set-Up Operator with Assembly.
*Full-time 1st Shift
Monday thru Thursday 4 am--2:30 pm
plus overtime as needed
Machine Set-Up experience required.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of recent experience with machine setups AND assembly in a manufacturing environment. Experience with metal preferred.
Requires strong hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity with small parts and ability to perform repetitive motions with hands.
Requires ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, depending on assigned machine. Must be able to do both.
Requires ability to frequently lift/move 10 pounds, occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Qualified individuals must be able to learn to Set up various pneumatic and hydraulic presses and hand assemble metal fastener parts according to blueprint and shop order for dimensions and tolerances.
Manually and mechanically assemble pins, lanyards, rings, or other metal parts.
Operates machines and performs duties in a safe manner.
Maintains expected rates for production.
Read simple blueprints and QC sheets for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances.
Participates and works well as a team member and is able to work independently and make knowledgeable decisions.
Engages in excellent housekeeping and safety practices.
The higher starting pay listed is based on someone meeting all of the required qualifications.
