  • Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm

  • Compensation:$21-26/hourly

  • Services: Provide IEP Mandated Services at our Centers (NOT INSURANCE BASED)

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Clinical Supervisors BCBAs to implement principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy. 

  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions. 

  • Acquire and maintain RBT credential in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) within the first 90 days of employment. 

  • Use electronic platform for data collection and graphing.

  • Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed.

  • Effectively manage learners including physical crisis intervention protocols, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.

And this background:

  • Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting.

  • Experience with working with challenging behaviors preferred

  • Enrollment or completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or related field a plus.

  • Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.

  • Must be able to work safely and directly with individuals who engage in varying magnitudes of challenging behaviors including but not limited to aggression, self-injury, property destruction, and elopement.

  • Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds.

  • The ability to climb and descend staircases.

  • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting (on floor), standing) for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to utilize quick body movements and PMT techniques as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan while working with learners that exhibit challenging behaviors.

  • Bilingual is a plus.
