As a Security Officer TWIC Credential Audit Driver in La Porte, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, control access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, conduct routine patrols, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.

Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor passes, maintaining entry records, and directing individuals in accordance with site requirements.

Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, perimeter areas, parking areas, and assigned operational zones to help identify unauthorized access or unusual conditions.

Document incidents, access-control activities, and shift information accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
-
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
-
A guard card/license is preferred.
-
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
