We are looking for a Team Lead to join our Production Team. This position will be based at our Knightdale facility in Raleigh, NC.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Team Lead will oversee assigned manufacturing activities at the Siemens plant in Raleigh, NC. This role includes training team members, developing strategies, and ensuring progress toward operational goals.

Shift Hours : 7-3:30PM

Hourly Rate: $24.79

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years work experience in manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge on all operations in the area, material flow and SAP transactions

  • Demonstrated multi-tasking skills in a dynamic environment

  • Experience in training programs

  • Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.

  • Proficient experience using MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Degree/GED

  • +5S/6S

  • +Problem solving (A3, 8D, etc)

You'll make an impact by:

  • Coordinate employees to fulfill the work schedule and support cross-training initiatives defined by the Production Manager, including updating the training matrix.

  • Perform SAP transactions throughout the production process and update reports/files for metric calculations.

  • Identify and report production issues, proactively collaborating with relevant departments to resolve them.

  • Ensure adherence to 5S/6S, Lean principles (VSM, Kaizens, Standard Work), and waste mitigation strategies.

  • Empower the team, participate in equipment/work area cleaning, and ensure tool calibration is completed as required.

  • Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to continual improve the intended outcomes of the Management System.

  • Utilize digital documents for manufacturing processes and serve as a backup for the Production Manager as needed.
