Insight Global is looking for an IT PMO Portfolio Lead for a hybrid role in Southeastern, CT. This person will be overseeing a collection of IT projects to help with project prioritization, managing budgets and resource allocation across the portfolio. This person will support large infrastructure project including; Network, Datacenter, Cloud, and Hardware. They will be responsible for driving portfolio oversight and ensuring that projects and initiatives support the organization's strategic goals and long-term priorities. The individual will manage the overall health of the project portfolio by monitoring timelines, performance, and progress across multiple workstreams while assessing and prioritizing initiatives based on business value and organizational needs. They will coordinate resource planning to ensure teams are effectively utilized and equipped to meet project objectives. In addition, the role will proactively identify portfolio risks and dependencies, implement mitigation plans, and provide leadership with clear, actionable updates on portfolio performance, achievements, and challenges. The position also plays a key role in governance by advising stakeholders on project investments, including recommendations to launch, adjust, pause, or retire initiatives as needed. To support data-driven decision-making, the individual will develop and maintain portfolio reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and other performance metrics that provide visibility into overall portfolio outcomes and business impact.

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience in Program/Portfolio Management of IT projects

Experience with resource allocation

Strong knowledge scheduling projects

Risk Management

Strong stakeholder communication skills

Understanding of project selection and prioritizations PMP or PfMP certifications

Experience managing IT Infrastructure projects (Hardware, Cloud, Network, Datacenter, Servers)
