Mod Center Machine Operator - 3rd shift

Brief Job Summary:

The Modification Center Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining machines to produce modified parts in an efficient and productive manner. This role includes an emphasis on copper processing, maintaining equipment, and ensuring product quality according to customer requirements within a non-climate-controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, program, operate, and maintain machines to produce modified parts

  • Maintain all equipment and tools in good working order

  • Assure product quality by following procedures and tolerances determined by customer specifications

  • First Article Inspection

  • Paint Touch-up

  • Stand for long periods; walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently during the shift

  • Lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Basic tooling knowledge and ability to read blueprints

  • Preferred experience:

  • Advanced blueprint reading

  • Mechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently

  • Lift 80 lbs occasionally and 25-50 lbs frequently

Work Environment:

  • Non-climate-controlled work area

  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures
