Manufacturing Associates – Small Parts & Electronic Assembly

Increased Pay Rates | Multiple Openings | Temp‑to‑Hire

Pay: up to $23.26 per hour

Schedules Available: M-Th 4p-3a or Fri- Sun 5a-6p

Assignment Length: Temp-to-Hire

We are hiring Manufacturing Associates to support a stable, high‑demand production facility in Gray, ME. This role focuses on small‑part and electronic bench‑style assembly in a clean, organized light-manufacturing environment .

In addition to newly increased pay rates on all shifts, these positions offer consistent schedules , predictable hours , and a clear temp‑to‑hire path for candidates who demonstrate reliability , attention to detail , and a willingness to learn.

The facility is centrally located with an easy commute from Portland, Freeport, Windham, Mechanic Falls, Lewiston/Auburn, and surrounding areas.

What the Work Looks Like:

Work assignments vary by department, but this role typically involves hands‑on assembly at a workstation or bench:

  • Assembling small parts or electronic components using written instructions, diagrams, or work orders

  • Using hand tools or small power tools to complete assemblies

  • Performing light soldering

  • Inspecting finished pieces to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards

  • Preparing completed products for packaging , storage, or shipment

  • Recording basic production or quality data using simple computer systems

This is detail‑focused, repetitive work that rewards accuracy, consistency, and focus.

This Role Is a Good Fit If You:

  • Have prior manufacturing, assembly, or production experience

  • Are comfortable following step‑by‑step instructions (written and verbal)

  • Are open to learning new tasks or rotating between assembly areas

Requirements:

  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred)

  • Basic computer skills (entering data, reading electronic work orders)

  • Ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks for extended periods

  • Post-offer background check will be required

Candidates that can demonstrate a strong attendance history and a clearly communication their prior assembly, electronic, or mechanical experience tend to stand out amongst the crowd of applicants.
