Job Title: General Laborer Job Description
This role supports the operations and maintenance team at a large solar energy center by performing basic general labor duties on site. You use standard hand tools to complete routine O&M tasks across the solar facility, working outdoors in varying weather conditions and contributing to the reliable operation of a major renewable energy project.
Responsibilities

Perform general operations and maintenance tasks across the solar site using basic hand tools.

Support the O&M team with day-to-day labor activities required to keep the solar facility running safely and efficiently.

Carry out basic construction-related duties as directed, including physical labor tasks in an outdoor environment.

Follow written and verbal instructions carefully to complete assigned work to quality and safety standards.

Arrive on time each day and maintain consistent attendance to support scheduled operations.

Work safely at all times, respecting site rules and procedures while handling tools and equipment.

Adapt to working in outdoor conditions, including sun, wind, rain, and temperature changes, while maintaining productivity.

General construction background with experience performing physical labor tasks.

Work Environment
This position is based at a 500 MW solar project where you perform operations and maintenance tasks directly on site. You work primarily Monday through Friday for approximately 40–45 hours per week, with about five hours of overtime available and more as needed. The role is fully outdoors, requiring comfort with working in sun, wind, rain, and varying temperatures. You use basic hand tools and standard construction equipment in an industrial solar facility environment, following site safety protocols and procedures throughout your shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
