Job Title: Distribution Worker Job Description
The Distribution Worker performs a wide range of shipping and receiving activities to ensure that inventory and raw materials are properly wrapped, marked, transported, and stored in an organized and efficient manner. This role also handles the printing and fulfillment of daily orders and relies on strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position involves training on forklifts, power pallet jacks, and genie lifts, and requires dependable, independent transportation and excellent attendance.
Responsibilities

Perform shipping and receiving operations, including verifying, wrapping, marking, and transporting inventory and stored raw materials.

Ensure raw materials and inventory are logistically stored in an organized and efficient manner.

Print and fulfill daily orders accurately and on time.

Operate general production and distribution equipment, such as machines, packaging tools, and scanning devices, following safety and quality guidelines.

Use computers to enter, track, and update order, inventory, and shipping information.

Conduct basic inspections of materials and products, including visual inspections, to ensure quality standards are met.

Use tape measures and hand tools as needed to support production and distribution activities.

Support machine operation and general labor tasks within the converting shop as assigned.

Be willing to train on and operate forklifts, power pallet jacks, and genie lifts in a safe and responsible manner.

Lift up to 25 pounds to shoulder height and up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis while performing daily tasks.

Maintain excellent attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts to support consistent operations.

Follow all cleanroom procedures when applicable and adhere to company safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
Essential Skills

High school diploma or equivalent.

Attention to detail in handling inventory, orders, and inspections.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds to shoulder height and 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.

Computer proficiency for order processing, inventory tracking, and basic data entry.

Math aptitude to support measurements, counts, and order verification.

Ability to perform visual inspections to ensure product and material quality.

Willingness to be trained on forklifts, power pallet jacks, and genie lifts.

Capability to perform general labor and machine operation tasks in a production or distribution environment.

Dependable, independent transportation to and from work.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain orderly storage and workflows.

Excellent attendance and reliability.

Some prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Cleanroom experience is beneficial and preferred for future operations.

Experience with general machine operating and production processes.

Familiarity with packaging, scanning, and inspection activities.

Comfort using tape measures and hand tools for production and distribution tasks.

2+ years of servo press experience preferred.

Work Environment
This role is based in a converting shop environment, with climate control available in at least one building to support comfort and consistent working conditions. Cleanrooms will be introduced in the future, and team members may work within those controlled environments as operations expand. The position operates on a 2nd shift schedule, working Monday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The work involves regular use of production and distribution equipment and requires adherence to safety and cleanliness standards appropriate for both standard shop and cleanroom settings.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
