Now Hiring: TEAP Counselor (CASAC-T or CASAC Required)

Make a real difference in the lives of young adults. We’re looking for a passionate TEAP Counselor to support students at Job Corps through substance use education, prevention, and early intervention. In this role, you’ll help students build healthier habits, overcome challenges, and stay on track toward their education and career goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct substance use screenings, assessments, and intakes

  • Provide individual and group counseling focused on prevention and education

  • Lead engaging workshops, groups, and classroom-style sessions

  • Create and manage individualized case plans to support student success

  • Monitor progress and connect students with additional resources as needed

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation (HIPAA compliant)

  • Partner with wellness staff and center leadership to support student outcomes

  • Support a safe, drug-free environment, including drug testing program oversight

  • Other duties as assigned

  • CASAC-T or CASAC certification (required)

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification that meets minimum state licensing or certification requirements to practice in the state where the center is located.

  • A degree from an accredited school preferred.

  • A minimum of one-year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field preferred.
