Your Responsibilities

As a Design Engineer, Hydraulics for John Deere Waterloo Product Engineering Center located in Waterloo, IA , you will:

• Execute EPDP, Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction design projects for hydraulic system parts like control valves, priority system parts or equivalent for multiple product families

• Perform CREO CAD design space analysis for global machines

• Work on cross-functional alignments on interfaces jointly with internal stakeholders in an international environment

• Model hydraulic components in CREO CAD

• Negotiate with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Work on requirements and specifications for the areas of design responsibility

What Skills You Need

• 1+ years of relevant internships or academic experience in hydraulics, understanding hydraulic schematics, experience in hydraulic components

• Understanding hydraulic principles

• Exposure to modeling software

• Basic Automation Studio software knowledge

• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
