Vascular Technologist working PRN days at Piedmont Athens Regional, performing inpatient and outpatient vascular ultrasound testing including 2D and Doppler imaging, as well as physiologic assessments. Provides complex technical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, documenting findings and preliminary exam results.

Key focus areas include Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing, including 2D/Doppler imaging and physiologic testing. and Provide complex technical care using ultrasound for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, and document preliminary exam findings..

Preferred (not required): Vascular Ultrasound Testing, 2D Vascular Imaging, Doppler Vascular Imaging, and Physiologic Testing.

Overview PRN Days Vascular Tech Piedmont Athens Regional

Responsibilities Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing to include various 2D / Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing. Provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings. Qualifications Education

Graduate of Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Vascular Sonography program Required or
In Lieu of education, equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Required

Work Experience

No experience required
2 years related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory vascular sonographer Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

BCLS - Basic Life Support in accordance with the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required and
Current registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one the following: within 1 Year
RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist within 1 Year Required or
RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with RVS certification within 1 Year Required
