Job Description

General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations within the local branch while driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and overall profitability. This role provides strategic leadership across sales, operations, customer service, and financial performance while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, suppliers, and industry professionals.

Lead, coach, mentor, and develop management, sales, and operational teams.

Review and approve major contracts, bids, and proposals.

Provide leadership and direction to managers and supervisors across departments.

Partner with marketing teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify growth opportunities.

Oversee proof-of-concept initiatives, pilot programs, and strategic projects.

Lead branch-wide meetings and leadership team discussions.

Manage all aspects of branch financial performance, including P&L accountability.

Ensure sales teams achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual performance goals.

Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accountability and follow-through.

Monitor inventory levels to support operational requirements.

Oversee hiring, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning in partnership with Human Resources.

Review operational reports including sales performance, production metrics, labor costs, expenses, and attendance trends.

Establish and maintain cost-control strategies to maximize profitability.

Ensure projects and customer commitments are completed on time and to quality standards.

Support account managers with bid development and proposal preparation.

Champion exceptional service for both internal and external customers.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of management experience within the security integration industry.

5+ years of experience in a branch, operations, or general management role.

Strong understanding of change management principles and organizational leadership.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.

Proven ability to motivate, develop, and lead high-performing teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.

Highly detail-oriented with a focus on execution and result
