Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in New York, NY, with flexibility for partial work-from-home. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle for institutional partners, including prospecting, qualifying leads, delivering product demos, preparing proposals, and closing new business. The Account Executive will nurture relationships with colleges and universities, understand their enrollment and engagement challenges, and collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet partner goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining an active pipeline in the CRM, forecasting revenue, coordinating with marketing on campaigns, and providing feedback to product teams based on market insights. The role also involves attending industry events, representing Kollegio to prospective clients, and ensuring a smooth handoff to customer success for long-term partner growth. Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in consultative sales, relationship management, and account growth within B2B or SaaS environments.
  • Experience in lead generation, pipeline management, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track opportunities and forecast revenue.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders at colleges and universities.
  • Ability to analyze enrollment, engagement, or performance data and translate insights into clear value propositions for institutional partners.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of higher education, edtech, or institutional enrollment strategies is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup in New York, NY, including in-person meetings with clients and internal teams.
