A speech-language pathologist (SLP) is a health professional who assesses and treats communication and swallowing disorders. They work with people of all ages, from babies to adults.

Established and reputable rehab center! About the position:
Position can work within either of these settings, or both, based on preference and experience: 1) inpatient skilled nursing facility with adults, 2) outpatient clinic with pediatrics

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Utilize standardized tests and clinical observations to identify specific needs and strengths.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.

Provide direct therapy services to patients, tailoring interventions to their unique needs and goals.

Employ evidence-based practices and techniques to address a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Comply with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards. Qualifications
Licensed SLP or recent graduate
