Full job description
Position Summary
The Quality Technician is responsible for performing product inspections, supporting daily quality activities. This position works closely with Production, Materials, Warehouse Manager and Engineering to identify quality issues, determine root causes, and ensure products meet company and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the daily activities of Quality Technicians.

Inspect incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products.

Verify products meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Use measuring and inspection equipment to confirm product quality.

Identify, document, and communicate defects or quality concerns.
-
Place nonconforming materials on hold and ensure they are properly identified.

Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
-
Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
-
Train employees on inspection methods and quality procedures.
-
Work with other departments to resolve quality and production issues.
-
Recommend improvements to reduce defects and prevent repeated problems.

Support customer complaints, audits, and continuous improvement activities.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualification:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience required.
-
Ability to read drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
-
Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
-
Good communication and organizational skills.
-
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
