Full job description

Responsible for assisting mechanics in daily repair work. Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. RESPONSIBILITIES - Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Review repair log and prepares jobs

  • Assist mechanics with repairs to equipment

  • Conduct parts runs

  • Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment

  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum

Ability to read/interpret documents

Must be 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license

Willingness to continue education as necessary

Strong time management skills

Ability/willingness to learn to operate the following special equipment, machinery, and/or special tools: hand truck, hand and power pallet jack, power lift equipment (company will train)

Ability to effectively present information in oneonone or small group situations to customers, clients, and / or associates in the organization

Ability to prioritize/multitask while providing accurate/ontime results

Ability to work a variety of shifts which may include weekends and overtime

Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction)

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities

Ability to write routine reports/correspondence

Desired

High School Diploma or GED

1 year of experience in mechanical field
