Job Duties
Position Objective: In this job, the team member will assist in the daily operation and management of grain facilities to maintain efficiency and quality while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities of the Position:
Manage operational functions of grain receiving, weighing, grading, storage, handling, drying, blending, conditioning and loading out.
Manage location operation employees, including training, coaching and annual performance reviews.
Manage operational location expenses, contractors and submission of purchase orders and approval of all invoices.
Provide backup support when the regional operation manager is absent.
Implement housekeeping, maintenance and identification programs for the facility and assigned vehicles/equipment
Coordinate manpower requirements in cooperation with other locations and departments.
Monitor stored grain condition to assure quality and quantity.
Know and follow all company safety policies/procedures. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations.
Communicate to management labor and equipment needs as well as repair and facility improvement requests.
Observe and enforce all company policies.
Communicate with and maintain good relationships with customers, resolving complaints quickly, fairly and within company policies.
Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision.
Maintain the confidentiality of all employee, company, customer, and business information.
Attend and complete all required work-related and leadership training as assigned.
Assist other departments within the company as needed.

Minimum Education Required
High School graduate - supervisory experience preferred
Minimum Experience Required
Qualifications:
High school graduate.
Supervisory experience (preferred)
Federal grain inspection/weighing license or ability to obtain.
Ability to operate heavy equipment such as trucks, tractors, etc.
Willingness to work in multiple locations as assigned by supervisor.
Basic mechanical experience and aptitude.
CDL with necessary endorsements (preferred).
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
