Clinical Dietitian (Part-Time)

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Dietitian to join our Dining Services Team!

Schedule: Part-Time

  • 16 hours per week , can be flexible with days and hours!

Compensation: Dependent upon experience

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and develop individualized nutrition care plans to support their health and well-being.

  • Monitor residents with nutritional risks, such as unintended weight loss, pressure injuries, dehydration, or other medical concerns, and recommend appropriate dietary interventions.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition services and participate in care plan meetings.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations, professional standards, and facility policies.

  • Support Dining Services by reviewing menus, monitoring meal quality and therapeutic diets, educating staff on modified diets, and helping maintain nutrition policies and procedures.

  • Supervise Diet Office operations, including scheduling and communication, while participating in inspections, required meetings, and other department initiatives as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be a Pennsylvania Registered Dietitian (RD)

  • Previous geriatric clinical knowledge

  • Experience in Skilled or Long-Term Care
