Skills & Competencies

  • Ideally, 2-3 years of experience in the financial services sector, particularly in business development, sales, marketing, or relationship management roles

  • Prior experience in customer service or client-facing roles is preferred

  • Strong team orientation with a high degree of integrity, commitment, and motivation

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities Education

  • A minimum of an undergraduate or first-level degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Business, or Finance Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to support sales objectives and manage both new and existing customer relationships across Australia and New Zealand

  • Deliver high-quality sales support to ensure exceptional customer service

  • Prepare materials for customer meetings and assist with follow-up actions

  • Manage administrative tasks related to the sales process using Salesforce

  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends

  • Support the promotion of Moody’s ESG offerings and thought leadership in sustainable finance

  • Assist with event and conference coordination, as well as marketing initiatives

  • Engage directly with customers to support relationship development

  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders including Middle Office, Legal, Compliance, Sales Operations, and Billing/Collections teams

  • Contribute to special projects, ad-hoc initiatives, and campaign execution About the Team The team is part of Moody's Global Relationship Management Group and is responsible for managing commercial engagements across a diverse client base. This includes Financial Institutions, Corporates, Project & Infrastructure entities, and Sub-Sovereign sectors. Additionally, the team manages all classes of Structured Finance transactions.
