Job Description

We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) HR Generalist / Safety Coordinator to join a growing food manufacturing company. In this role, you'll support day-to-day HR operations while helping maintain a safe, compliant workplace for approximately 60 employees. You'll work closely with the Office Manager, Plant Manager, and HR team to ensure employees are supported throughout the employee lifecycle and that safety programs remain effective.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, new hire paperwork, and employee records

  • Maintain HR documentation and employee data using ADP

  • Assist with payroll coordination and timekeeping

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee HR questions and support employee relations

  • Coordinate employee training, communications, and HR compliance

  • Support workplace safety programs and OSHA compliance

  • Conduct new hire safety orientations and ongoing safety training

  • Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety reporting

  • Perform safety audits and maintain required documentation

  • Partner with management on staffing, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or Safety Coordinator experience

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or food manufacturing environment strongly preferred

  • Working knowledge of ADP or similar HRIS/payroll systems

  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, workplace safety programs, and compliance

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully onsite manufacturing environment

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with operations and leadership teams
