Job Description:
Unit Highlights:
- This facility houses a 40 plus bed Medical Progressive Care Stroke Unit in our new tower. Patient ratios depend on acuity and census ranges from 1:4-5.
- The Medical PCU team responds to the Rapid Response Team calls in a fast and efficient manner.
- This unit has an LPN Model and works together in a high energized family-oriented team alongside the rest of our whole team for best patient care outcomes.
- Progressive Care serves all medical conditions within a well-equipped and spacious unit featuring computerized documentation technology.
- Floating may be required between PCU and ICU units based on census.
Schedule: Full-Time - Nights - 645p-715a - 3/12s - rotating weekends and holidays
Job Description:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Pay Range:
$31.53 - $52.24 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
