About the Role

Full-time, hybrid, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Candidates must be local to Bay Area. As Lead AI/LLM Engineer, this is a hands-on role, you'll build and deploy the AI systems powering our platform, set technical direction, and mentor the team.

Mandatory Skills

  • Built and deployed autonomous AI agents powered by LLMs to production environments.
  • Optimized agent performance using in-depth knowledge of LLM.

Highly Desirable Skills

  • Built robust data pipelines using advanced SQL and data warehousing
  • Snowflake — SQL and stored procedures (JavaScript, Python)
  • Event-driven data pipelines — streams, tasks, queues, async orchestration
  • Performance bench marking and optimization — API and Snowflake procedure latency
  • System design and architectural decision-making
  • AWS (S3, CodeBuild, ECS) — deployment, file storage, CI/CD
  • Next.js + React 19 + TypeScript 5 — SSR, Server Components, API routes
  • React Query — server state management
