About the Role
Full-time, hybrid, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Candidates must be local to Bay Area. As Lead AI/LLM Engineer, this is a hands-on role, you'll build and deploy the AI systems powering our platform, set technical direction, and mentor the team.
Mandatory Skills
- Built and deployed autonomous AI agents powered by LLMs to production environments.
- Optimized agent performance using in-depth knowledge of LLM.
Resumes that don't clearly demonstrate the above two mandatory skills won't be considered.
Highly Desirable Skills
- Built robust data pipelines using advanced SQL and data warehousing
- Snowflake — SQL and stored procedures (JavaScript, Python)
- Event-driven data pipelines — streams, tasks, queues, async orchestration
- Performance bench marking and optimization — API and Snowflake procedure latency
- System design and architectural decision-making
- AWS (S3, CodeBuild, ECS) — deployment, file storage, CI/CD
- Next.js + React 19 + TypeScript 5 — SSR, Server Components, API routes
- React Query — server state management
Nice to Have
- Healthcare, payer/provider data, or pricing/contracts
- Early-stage startup experience
