Environmental Services Inventory & Equipment Supervisor

At University Health, we're looking for an Environmental Services Inventory & Equipment Supervisor to help ensure our Environmental Services team has everything they need to create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are exactly the same, but you'll be the go-to person for keeping our inventory and equipment operations running smoothly.
You'll:

Lead the receiving, storage, tracking, and distribution of Environmental Services supplies and equipment.

Keep inventory levels balanced by maintaining and adjusting min/max stock levels—avoiding shortages without filling every storage room to the ceiling.

Supervise and support team members while helping create an efficient, customer-focused operation.

Partner with EVS leadership to establish supply par levels for hospital departments and satellite facilities.

Make sure equipment is ready when it's needed by coordinating preventative maintenance and service repairs.

Reduce equipment downtime and quickly address operational issues.

Maintain clean, organized, and compliant storage areas that meet safety and infection prevention standards.

Look for opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support the overall success of the department.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and visitors.

Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds on a regular basis.

Ability to safely operate electric and battery-powered floor care equipment.
-
Ability to read and understand chemical labels, safety information, and first-aid instructions.
-
Must meet fleet driving requirements if driving is required for the position.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.

College coursework.

Experience in healthcare, environmental services, inventory management, or supply chain operations.

Three or more years of experience in a service-oriented environment.

Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
