We are seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager at one of our Distribution Centers in Odessa, Texas. In this role, you will partner with the HR Manager to lead the HR function across the facility, supporting organizational growth, development, and change while fostering a culture rooted in teamwork, inclusivity, and mutual respect. You will also help ensure compliance with all HR policies and legal requirements.
Pay Rate $40-$45/hour

Duties:

Assist in leading all HR functions within the distribution center

Recruit, hire, and onboard both non-exempt and exempt associates
-
Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs
-
Prepare and analyze weekly HR metrics (turnover, hiring, corrective actions)

Maintain accurate and compliant employee records
-
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives alongside the HR team
-
Conduct and analyze exit interviews to support retention strategies
-
Generate HR reports and perform data analysis as needed
-
Provide employee relations support across all shifts
-
Support safety initiatives and ensure HR compliance with laws and regulations
-
Represent the company in investigations, hearings, or audits when necessary
-
Maintain labor law postings and associate communication boards
-
Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion

Position Requirements:

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred); PHR certification a plus

Previous HR experience, preferably in a distribution center or similar environment

Strong understanding of employee relations, recruitment, and workers¿ compensation
-
Knowledge of HR laws and regulatory compliance requirements
-
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
-
Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and HR systems (e.g., Showcase)
-
Flexibility to work across multiple shifts as needed
Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 30 pounds., required education: Bachelors.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $40.00 - $45.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
