Job Description

Negotiates and oversees administration of terms and conditions for organization procurement contracts and agreements. Advises business partners on contractual rights and obligations, and provides interpretation of terms and conditions. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on contract negotiation, administration, and compliance.

Job Responsibility

  • Reviews, drafts, edits, and negotiates terms and conditions of procurement contracts and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) Agreements.

  • Researches and recommends contract policies and procedures, with strong understanding of industry best practices and current developments in contract administration.

  • Collaborates with technical teams to analyze acquisition requirements.

  • Advises staff and management regarding contract terms and conditions, applicable organization policies and procedures, and best practices to advance Procurement department business objectives.

  • Maintains database of contracts including key terms and conditions necessary for proper administration of organization contract agreements.

  • Responds to inquiries regarding contract obligations; collaborates with organization teams and vendors to understand and resolve contractual issues.

  • Monitors active contracts and collaborates with Procurement staff to ensure contractual commitments are understood and met.

  • Oversees contract tracking system to ensure timely renewal/bid process and notification of expirations.

  • Prepares management reports regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.

  • Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

  • Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.

  • Project Management skills preferred

The salary range for this position is $66300.00-$108311.00/year
